Subject: The Thing
Size: 15x15 cm
Working time: ~60 minutes 

Story:
Jacob Kurtzberg was born 100 years ago this month (August 28, 1917), but most comics aficionados know him by the name JACK KIRBY.  In tribute to what would have been Jack’s 100th anniversary here on the planet Earth, we will be drawing only characters he created (or co-created) for the rest of the month.

Benjamin J. Grimm, aka THE THING, is a founding member of the superhero team known as the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics Universe. He was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in The Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961). His trademark orange rocky appearance, sense of humor, blue eyes, and his famous battle cry, "It's clobberin' time!" makes him one of comics' most recognizable and popular characters.  He is the everyman, the working man's hero, the poor sap what gets no break in life but struggles through to triumph anyway!

Really enjoyed to draw the Thing! Then I didn't wanna stop after 30 minutes (shown below). Hope you'll enjoy the final result.

J'ai vraiment aimé dessiner la Chose ! Du coup, je n'ai pas voulu m'arrêter au bout de 30 minutes (résultat ci-dessous). J'espère que vous aimerez ce dessin.
