Subject: Mister Fantastic

Story:
Jacob Kurtzberg was born 100 years ago this month (August 28, 1917), but most comics aficionados know him by the name JACK KIRBY.  In tribute to what would have been Jack’s 100th anniversary here on the planet Earth, we will be drawing only characters he created (or co-created) for the rest of the month.

The smartest scientific mind on the planet, Reed Richards is Mister Fantastic of the FANTASTIC FOUR!  Gifted by powerful cosmic rays with the ability to control and shift the mass of his entire body at will, Mister Fantastic can shape-shift into nearly limitless forms and shapes and can absorb impacts that would kill a normal man.  But what makes Reed the leader of the FANTASTIC FOUR is his brilliant and curious mind, his adventurous spirit and his hunger for exploration and discovery!  It is his scientific genius that makes him truly fantastic!
